Watercolour... (^_^)

First of all, welcome February!!


On this very 1st day of February I was painting my 'n'th artwork but this time around I am using watercolour. Hehe, actually I've been longing to paint using watercolour these whole time but I had this fear as I heard watercolour is the hardest medium to handle. I drew the picture of my little sister few days back, bought the watercolour paint today and rushed back home to start my painting. I can't wait to start while I was in the Art Shop. *giggle* I knew I can handle poster colour nicely, but water colour... (Im not sure...) Hurm, I just learn by looking closely at other people's artwork so I can slightly see how it's done!



I don't have easel!!! Please somebody give easel as my birthday present please~~~ (^.~)
Never mind, I have better idea which I taped it on my closet's door. (Just like the picture above)


Painting started. I made the thin layer for face, hair and blouse. Then put some shading for shadow areas. My sister looked like an English girl in this light brown hair. hehe~


Oh ya, obviously I am lazy to elaborate to much and tada~!!
This is the ending of my four hours of painting. And I named it "MY LIL BEAUTY"
